Kick Andy Heroes Nominations 2021
On August 9, 2020, Rumah Mocaf had a very valuable opportunity because it was invited to Kick Andy to share the story of the origin of the Rumah Mocaf. Riza Azyumarridha Azra and Wahyu Budi Utami as the founders of Rumah Mocaf Indonesia who represented to attend the Kick Andy event. In the event, Riza and Tami told how they started the Rumah Mocaf, what was the background for the establishment of the Rumah Mocaf. In addition, they also shared the hopes of mocaf flour for the people of Indonesia and the many benefits of mocaf flour for body health. The Winner of Hyundai Start-Up Challenge
PT Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (HMMI) has officially selected 4 startup winners and 1 favorite winner in the Hyundai Start-Up Challenge which was held in 2020. The winners include Wakhyu Budi Utami (Rumah Mocaf) with a prize of IDR 500 million, Galih Dandung Akbar G (Pictafish) IDR 300 million, Andhika Mahardika (Agradaya) IDR 200 million IDR, Muhammad Thoyib (Indigo Buru Baru) will receive IDR 200 million and the winner favorite of Aminudi (Biomagg Indonesia) who received IDR 5 million.
Start-Up Challenge winners are selected based on their commitment to participate across programs and ability to create tangible and actionable business plans. So that the businesses they own can create a more significant impact than they have on society, which includes education about the environment and employment. With this funding, Rumah Mocaf will continue its efforts to realize the dream that one day Indonesia can have food sovereignty, especially cassava, which can elevate its dignity.
Indonesia Made Proud Award Night 2020
Mocafine by Rumah Mocaf Indonesia won an award at the 2020 Indonesia Made Proud Award Night which was held by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy/Head of the Tourism and Creative Economy Agency, together with the Indonesian E-Commerce Association (idEA) on December 6, 2020. This award is expected to become the first step to improve the welfare of cassava farmers and mocaf craftsmen throughout Indonesia. Mocaf flour by Rumah Mocaf Indonesia always prioritizes quality in products, starting from the selection of raw materials, procurement of labor, maintenance of facilities and infrastructure, supervision of production processes, to packaging. All mocaf flour products sold by Rumah Mocaf Indonesia are products from local cassava farmers of the highest quality. Rumah Mocaf sells certified organic and 100% natural mocaf flour. The Indonesia Food Innovation
Rumah Mocaf received an award at the Indonesia Food Innovation (IFI) event. Indonesia Food Innovation is a food business acceleration program for Small and Medium Enterprises (IKM) that has product and / or process innovation and is made from the main raw material of local resources so that it is ready to become a marketable, profitable and sustainable food industry. By participating in this event, selected participants will receive coaching and mentoring from professional experts through the food camp program to improve capabilities both from technical and business aspects. Rumah Mocaf participated in the IFI event and won the second place in the intermediate product category.
In addition, Riza Azyumarridha Azra as the owner and founder of PT Rumah Mocaf Indonesia has been named the Ambassador of Millennial Farmers at the Ministry of Agriculture in 2020 by the Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture. Banjarnegara which is the birthplace of Riza is the second largest producer of cassava in Central Java. By building Rumah Mocaf, Riza succeeded in resurrecting cassava farmers who had fallen because of falling cassava prices, and could create a new economic cycle for housewives as mocaf craftsmen. This success has led Riza to become the Ambassador of Millennial Farmers because she can unite farmers, craftsmen, and young people to jointly generate local food.
Mocafine is the product name of mocaf flour which is the mainstay product of Rumah Mocaf. Every food industry that will distribute its products in Indonesia is obliged to follow the regulations regulated by the government through an authorized institution, namely BPOM (Food and Drug Supervisory Agency). In this case, Mocafine has registered with BPOM. In addition, Mocafine also has a form of assurance of international food safety and quality in the form of HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) certification. Thus, Mocafine is safe for consumption so there will be no risk that it can endanger the health of the body after consuming it.
